Build your balance, core control and feel for the way your body moves, and become a better partner for your horse.
30-minute simulator training sessions can be booked after completing your Saddle Skills sessions.
Better Rider Project Group Options
Make learning and training a social occasion with options for on and off-horse training, and workshops for riding clubs and associations.
Talks and Workshops
Lissanthea runs practical and informative off-horse workshops for riders and coaches.
All workshops involve activities that give participants an insight into their own bodies and movement, and take-home practice tips to continue long after the session is over.
Lissanthea teaches 4 pro-bono workshops each year to clubs and organisations, to ensure wide access for riders to learn and develop their skills.
Please contact Lissanthea to discuss talks and workshops.
Group Fitness Training
Maximise your motivation and build accountability for your progress with group exercise sessions.
Working with your personal performance goals and building on the findings of your assessment, you'll work through your exercise program with supervision and guidance.
Embrace the challenges of working with bodyweight-based pilates exercises, bands and weights for external resistance, fitball for balance and support and blaze pods (above) for reaction time training.
Contact Lissanthea to register your interest in these classes.
On-horse Bands and Balls
Explore different ways to feel your body and correct your position using Franklin balls and physio bands.
Pick a riding skill you're struggling with and use the training aids to discover the cues and practice tips that will help new feelings become automatic.
Riders participate in these sessions at own risk, and are advised that horses may respond unpredictably to new sensations with bands and balls.
Maximum group size of 4 riders.
